Paul A. Laubach, President


Paul A. Laubach is President and co-founder of Providence Capital Group, Inc.  He also is founder and President of Pacific Summit Realty Advisors, Inc.


Mr. Laubach has 30 years experience in the real estate sector, having been previously employed by University Group, Inc.; a public real estate syndicator, and Landauer Associates; a national real estate consulting group.  He received his bachelors degree from Brown University in 1979 and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1981.


Mr. Laubach has been directly involved in the acquisition of more than 40 real estate investments, including more than 1,200 apartment units, over 500,000 square feet of office space, 350,000 square feet of industrial/flex/R&D buildings and over 100,000 square feet of retail properties.

Andrew C. Laubach, Vice-President and Corporate Counsel



Mr. Laubach serves as Corporate Counsel to Providence Capital Group, Inc., and is founder and President of Laubach Real Estate Services, Inc. and Summit Management; a real estate property management company.  He is also a co-founder of Providence Speed Manager, LLC. 


Mr. Laubach began his career with Musick, Peeler & Garrett, a Los Angeles based corporate law firm.  From there he worked with the Ventura County, California District Attorney’s Office.  In 1990, he joined Pacific Summit Realty Advisors, Inc. where he provided consulting and valuation services to many national companies.  In 1993, Mr. Laubach became the co-founder and managing member of Laubro, LLC, an entity which has owned numerous real estate investments.


Mr. Laubach graduated from Lewis & Clark College in 1983, and received his law degree from Duke University in 1986. 


Mr. Laubach is also a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and a licensed real estate broker in the State of California.  To date, Mr. Laubach has brokered more than 30 commercial real estate transactions and manages a large number of properties within the Providence Capital Speed Fund, L.P. portfolio.

David B. Sholem, Vice-President and Treasurer



David B. Sholem is a co-founder of and serves as Vice President and Treasurer of Providence Capital Group, Inc.  He is also a partner in the Champaign, Illinois based law firm of Meyer Capel, and is a co-founder of Providence Speed Manager, LLC.  Mr. Sholem has focused on real estate law and real estate development since he was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 1978.  He represents a number of real estate developers and investors, including institutional investors and real estate asset managers for institutional investors in several asset classes, including multi-family, commercial, and agricultural real estate.


Mr. Sholem received his bachelors degree from Brown University in 1975 and his Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1978. 


Mr. Sholem’s personal affiliations include the Champaign County Bar Association (former President), Illinois State Bar Association (Real Estate Section) and American Bar Association.  He is also active in a number of organizations and has served on the Board of Directors of Sinai Temple Congregation, Community Advisory Board of the Celebration Company (The Station Theater) and the Executive Committee of the Brown University Alumni Schools Committee.  He was elected to serve on the Board of Education for the Champaign, Illinois School District from 2001 to 2005.
